Pro ulehčení složité situace, ve které se celá společnost vlivem koronavirové pandemie ocitla, toho samosprávy nemohou podniknout mnoho. Město Olomouc se však rozhodlo využít alespoň těch možností, které má. Již dříve schválilo vedení města odpuštění místního poplatku z pobytu pro ubytovací zařízení, a to až do konce příštího roku. Nyní čeká na schválení zastupitelstvem návrh rady na odpuštění poplatků za předzahrádky restauračních zařízení.

„Provozovny, které mají schválené umístění předzahrádky, za toto užívání veřejného prostranství nebudou muset do konce června platit. Na tomto jsme se shodli na jednání rady a věřím, že tato úprava veřejné vyhlášky projde i zastupitelstvem,“ vysvětluje náměstek primátora Otakar Bačák.

„Olomouc je známá množstvím restaurací a kaváren, které vždy návštěvníci města i místní hojně využívali. Bohužel je teď situace pro provozovatele velmi složitá, proto jim chceme alespoň v rámci našich možností pomoci tyto nesnáze překonat,“ doplňuje.

Zastupitelstvo města Olomouce zasedne v pondělí 8. března.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
